Tenant Portal Overview

About the Tenant Portal

The Tenant Portal is a separate section of DoorLedgers where your tenants can manage their rental account.

Accessing the Portal

Tenants access the portal at: app.doorledgers.com/tenant-portal

Tenant Registration

  1. When added to a lease with an email address, tenants receive an invitation
  2. They click the link to set up their password
  3. Once registered, they can log in anytime

Portal Features

Dashboard

  • View current balance
  • See upcoming payments
  • Quick-pay button
  • Recent activity

Payments

  • Make one-time payments
  • View payment history
  • See payment status (pending, processing, paid)

Payment Methods

  • Add credit/debit cards
  • Link bank accounts for ACH
  • Set default payment method

Autopay

  • Set up automatic monthly payments
  • Choose payment method and date
  • Pause or cancel anytime

Repair Requests

  • Submit maintenance requests
  • Track request status
  • Communicate with landlord

Password Reset

Tenants can reset their password from the login page by clicking “Forgot Password?”
