Available Reports

DoorLedgers provides financial reports to help you track your rental income and expenses.

Income Report

View all rental income by:

  • Time period (month, quarter, year)
  • Building
  • Unit
  • Tenant

Expense Report

Track expenses by:

  • Category
  • Building
  • Time period
  • Vendor

Profit & Loss

See your bottom line with:

  • Total income
  • Total expenses by category
  • Net profit/loss
  • Comparison to previous periods

Using Report Filters

  1. Navigate to “Reports”
  2. Select the report type
  3. Choose your filters:
    • Date range
    • Building(s)
    • Categories
  4. Click “Generate Report”

Exporting Data

Export reports for accounting or tax purposes:

  • CSV format for spreadsheets
  • PDF for printing or sharing

Tax Time Tips

Tip: Run a full-year expense report in January to simplify tax preparation. Include all expense categories and export to CSV for your accountant.
  • Keep receipts organized by category
  • Export reports by calendar year
  • Review depreciation and mortgage interest separately
