Lease Packet Workflow
Each lease goes through these stages:
- Draft – You create a packet and upload your lease PDF(s)
- Sent – You send the review link to the tenant (7-day expiry)
- Viewed – Tenant opens the link and reviews documents
- Acknowledged – Tenant types their name to acknowledge receipt
- Executed – You mark the lease as fully executed
- Active – You activate the lease to start rent collection
What is Acknowledged?
When tenants acknowledge, they confirm:
“By typing my name below, I acknowledge that I have reviewed the lease documents provided and understand their contents. This acknowledgment is recorded electronically and is not a legally binding signature.”
Each acknowledgment records:
- Typed full name
- Date and time
- IP address
- Browser information
