Lease Packet Workflow

Each lease goes through these stages:

  1. Draft – You create a packet and upload your lease PDF(s)
  2. Sent – You send the review link to the tenant (7-day expiry)
  3. Viewed – Tenant opens the link and reviews documents
  4. Acknowledged – Tenant types their name to acknowledge receipt
  5. Executed – You mark the lease as fully executed
  6. Active – You activate the lease to start rent collection

What is Acknowledged?

When tenants acknowledge, they confirm:

“By typing my name below, I acknowledge that I have reviewed the lease documents provided and understand their contents. This acknowledgment is recorded electronically and is not a legally binding signature.”

Each acknowledgment records:

  • Typed full name
  • Date and time
  • IP address
  • Browser information
