After Adding a Building: Next Steps

Once you’ve added a building, here’s what to do next:

  2. Add Tenants – Enter your tenant information
  3. Create Leases – Link tenants to units with lease agreements
  4. Set Up Payments – Configure Stripe to accept online rent payments

Building Organization Tips

  • Name consistently – Use a naming convention that works for you (address-based, nickname-based, etc.)
  • Add complete addresses – This helps with reports and tenant communications
  • Use descriptions – Note important details like number of units, parking situation, or management notes
  • One building per property – Even a single-family home should be its own “building” with one unit
